Project Palaios - Iona portable amplifier
The Iona amplifier is our latest high performance portable headphone amplifier designed in Hong Kong. Featuring a mature electronic design and premium wooden enclosure. Each unit has been meticulously tuned, to deliver the best sound quality possible with the smallest footprint.
Designed for headphones and iems, the Iona amp has a small output impedance, also excellent frequency / phase response and THD performance.
THE WOOD
We use hand-crafted Premium wood enclosures customized for the project, drilled and fine polished with precision. ROSE WOOD models are currently available. There may be slight variations regarding drilling position due to manual works.
THE INGREDIENTS
Gold plated contacts for all pcbs and matched parts to maximize accuracy between channels. Premium-grade parts including resistors from TE connectivity (AKA Tyco Electronics) are chosen.
THE BUILD
Assembled and tested in Hong Kong, most electronic parts are hand soldered using quality soldering material.
